Ciao Vèz is a photographic journey through Italy, created by Philine Laschet and Lasse Pempeit. Travelling across the country by bus and train, we explored everyday life, local cultures, food and student life, meeting people and collecting stories along the way. A personal portrait of Italy, told through photographs, encounters and the little moments in between. The title vèz comes from the local slang of Bologna, a familiar way of saying “bro” or “mate”, a small word that captures the spirit of connection at the heart of the project.
